Annual: Early flowering, uniform, basil branching plants are loaded with intense red, 10 cm (4″) blooms. Mature plants reach 35 cm (14″) garden height. Sowing: Start seed indoors Jan/Feb in sterile seed starting medium and under fluorescent lights if possible. A sunny window will cause plants to become too leggy. LIghtly cover seed, moisten and germinate at 21C (70F) for 5-20 days. Pinch back to encourage a compact, bushy shape. Approx. 10 sds/pkt.
